Participants of the "Orchestra FUKUSHIMA! 2012" WantedWe are now welcoming applicants for the special giant orchestra which will be composed of members sought from the public, both professionals and amateurs.
In addition to interactions between commands of a conductor and the orchestra members who interpret them impromptu, music created through such process will resonate each other, going beyond individual performances, and create a new place of sounds. Participants will learn simple conducting rules at a workshop/rehearsal, and then, they will actually play music by applying the rules to compose an ensemble.
Last year, the orchestra performed at the "Festival FUKUSHIMA!" held at the Village of Four Seasons (Shiki-no-Sato) in Fukushima City, "Ensembles Parade 2011" in Mito City, "Orchestra TOKYO-FUKUSHIAM!"of the "TERATOTERA Festival" held in Kichijoji, Tokyo and "Tabito Nanao presents Hyakuninn-Kumite" held at Akasaka BLITZ, Tokyo.
